:)1. absolutely! this subject is worth my tuition expenses. why? because it opens my eyes to the splendid world of arts. through the subject, i profoundly learned to give a hand of chance to see how lovely music, movies and arts are. perplexing our minds in identifying music genres, wathcing movies and discussing stuff about arts are the things i'd really feel about this subject. 2. definitely yes! i will surely pass this subject because i am handed by a mind-blowing and a wondrous professor!naks!kidding aide, i know my performance and in the previous terms, i did my best performance to comply to the subject requirement. 3. i know that my performance is good enough that it deserves a grade ranging from a 1.5 to 1.75. i've been exerting efforts and continue to for me to be able to reach my expected grade and i've been trying to be responsible as possible to meet such mark. 4. the system is UNIQUE! very unique that we find it before uneasy and nerve shaking. but little by little, we tend to adapt and able to feel the uniqueness of the system. day by day we learned to pursue higher occurence to reach your so called PARAISO. "parang buhay, kailangan magtiyaga para mag kanilaga" 5.i wont say that theres nothing perhaps to change in the level you teach. i somehow want to contribute on the probable improvement of the subjct. and it is good to always leave a room for such a higher improvement. i wont comment on the way Mr. Solmerano teaches. it is unquestionable. the only thing is, i want him to be more patient. thank you sir...

Definitely!this subject is worth of my tuition fee and time. As a masscomm student, It is very essential fo me to further expose myself in forms of atrs and be able to understand it. Also, i enjoy media forms on which is included in this subject. I have an inner passion in movies, musicals and music as well and this subject have helped me to expand my desires by witnessing operas and musical theatres which I later on find very interesting. Im not quite sure i'd be able to pass this subject becuse the exam is quite hard and confusing, I dont know waht is the outcome of my exam, but hopefully i'd be able to pass. Grade?hmn..???perhaps 2.00? aheheh ;Dhopefully 2.00..The system used by my prof? AHAHAHAHAH ITS FUN!a unique way of pursuing his students to do better in class and make sure that we study our lessons. His strategy is very thrilling..i like it! :)Suggestions? none.. the strategy prof.solmerano used is already fine... that makes him differ from my other prof.s I like his idea of letting us watch film, listening to the music and looking at pictures so that we can easily and effectively understand the lessons. I salute you prof/.!great job and nice strategy,, dont change because we like it just the way it is-By the way im from section MC0522

Hi sir !!! Hindi po ako makapagsign-up eh. I'm Kristine T. Salvador po of MC0522. 1. Yes, of course, this subject is very worth it. It's very exciting and informative. It taught me how to appreciate art in the right way. 2. I'm not expecting but rather hoping that I could pass this subject. The subject is not too difficult for me unlike my other subjects because here I'm learning while I'm enjoying. Every meeting, all of us are really having fun. 3. As what I've said in number 2, I'm not expecting anything but rather hoping. I hope that I could get a grade of 1.25 or 1.00 if I can. I want to have a grade either of the two because it's one of my favorite subjects and I badly need it for my scholarship!!! 4. I really like it because it has less pressure unlike the ordinary system. It's appropriate for the subject because we are giving our personal reactions. 5. I don't have any suggestions to offer because for me the delivery of the subject is very great and excellent!!!

1. Humanities is worth paying for... With this subject, I was given the opportunity to watch musical films that I never expected to exist. This is where I have met my oldest film to deal with "West Side story". My first time to went at CCP and to watch all by myself. Son of a gun, Seasons of love, Wolfgang's laugh, Potiphar just like Elvis, The brown bear on first day of class... are some mementos given by our humanity subject. 2. Yes! The formula: God's grace+my ability= passing grade! ;D 3. I think that I would get 2.50 in this subject because I got low grades during prelims but I did a good performance this midterms. I'm really not sure... 4. Terrifying but also exciting... Mixed emotions and great fulfillment when you answered the questions especially if you reached paraiso... A big challenge for me... Actually I wanted to be there but can't be there... (sigh) ^_^ 5. Smile always! it helps to have a good health and less wrinkles... (Amadeus laugh) Godbless! Thank YOU! -Caravana, Jennifer from MC0522

1. Yes! this subject has definitely consumed our tuition fee, because we always use electronic visual aids such as cassette player, TV, and VCD player. And all those movies we have watches were absolutely entertaining and educational. So I think no time was wasted at all. 2. Hopefully. But I think I will (sana!), because I never had a single absent in this subject and I am meeting the requirements. I am not quite sure if I passed major exams. But I'm doing my best to overcome and pass this subject. 3. I guess I'll have a 2.25 or 2.5 grades in this subject, because my prelim grade was 2.75, and I know I had did my best to excel even a little this midterms. Just hoping that the best I did was enough. 4. Sir Solmerano used a democratic system. It was up to us to attend, submit requirements, and pass his class. During our prelims we were so eager to come to his class earlier to occupy seats in front or the so calles PARADISO. Through this seats we were able to have high grades in recitation and have an attendance. The tension was so high for us to answer those questions. And we were like playing the GAME K N B system. 5. Suggestions? Hhhmmm.... In my opinion it would be better if we'll use Plasma TV (sosyal!), because Sir, when we were watching Amadeus people at the back were blocked by those big people in front, we can hardly see Salier. Unfortunately it's hard to answer those questions in our last quiz about Amadeus. That's all sir. Thank you!

1. Is this subject worth your tuition fee and time? Why?-Of course yes. Because in these times, i need something to spice up my mind. I need something different from the usual Anatomy, Physiology and Health Care subjects, sometimes I'm bored with it, but Humanities is quite different. I gives me the oppurtunity to appreciate the things around me, especially music which is the one I love most. ;D ;D ;D 2. Are you sure you are going to pass this subject? Why?-of course yes. ;)I've tried all I can do to pass this subject even from the start. I even challenge my self to be one of the highest in the subject. I pass all the requirements and lastly I love the subject so there's no reason for me to fail it. 3. What grade do you expect to receive in this subject? Why?-I expect to have a grade of 1.25 or 1.50. Because as I have said before, my goal is to have a high grade in the subject, secondly is i try harder and harder to achieve it. And lastly, honestly I want to have my scholarship again on my 2nd semester so that my parents would be proud to their son(me). 4. What do you think of the system used by your professor in the recitation?Hahaha... It's fun (and that's what I'm trying to say-something to spice up my mind). I miss those times(prelim) that we were actually angels from heaven but sometimes devils from the underworld. What a bright idea! It's fun, it is really really fun...!!! ;D 5. What suggestions would you like to offer to further improve the delivery of the subject?-ummm, I would like to suggest to have a fieldtrip outside the school, although I considered it is hard to the professors of what might happen unexpectedly to us, but it seems fun. Try to have a fieldtrip, maybe in Museums, or historical structure/monuments here in the Manila. Maybe in Pambansang Museo or in Intramuros(both are near in Mla City Hall). To visit maybe paintings or held in a exhibits.. Haha.. Just a suggestion.!!! ;D -ARISTOTLE F. REYES B33- 7:30-9:00 TF SB 308 \m/ rock my world....

1;D WAHH....ei yup sir!hirap magregister dito ah halos pabalik balik nlng kame sa shop., ;D neweiz yeah ofcourse this subject helps alot to us kasi in our course bihira lang ung ganito imagine were taking up nursing but then were not limiting the knowledge we have this subject helps alot talaga and every tuition we spent for this why should it become useless?so very worht it! 2 :osir its up to you if you have a good heart to do it and if you pass us in this subject it will help alot for us to pass the nursing career but definitely ill do my very best to pass this subject even it is so hard especially when our topic was about music.it seems my head turns upside down but to tell you i learned alot!I learned also to appreciate everyhing when i study this subject,. 3;D my favorite grade was 1 flat!hehehe....1.50 will help me for my scholarship i mean for the scholarship grant by my parents to me,ehehehe...si its up to you if wat grade youwant to give to me and ill be contented and be thankful...sir make it 1.25 pls..jowk.. but still regarding this grade i know its hard for us to get this kind of grade even it was just a minor subject but then i value this subject much..and also im confident to myself because im doing my part and participation during class 4.honestly slightly i dont want the way of recitation he made during prelims because its my first time to encounter that way of reciting but then im having fun later on.Im always in front that time and im so very proud to myself because whenever questioned asked to me i still answer it without looking the book. its okay to me the way he made the recitation like the way he used to be last prelims. 5.more films to watch because i love watching very much and gouping to express ideas of each of us.godspeed sir and take care always!keep up the gud work and were proud of you!more blessings and merry christmas!mwah... and i wanna tell this to the other students that dont limit your knowledge just continue to explore and learn everything!thats all

1. believe or not this subject is so cool imagine we critize films not just ordinary film but an extraordinary one, this subject teaches me to appreciate art in a more deeper and serious one.its not just about looking at it but giving it a goog interpretation,in short sir,im liking this subject. 2.i think sir you have the heart to pass us,i know our class offended your subject and i cant see the fact why they called your movie "corny" and in behalf of my dearing classmates im deeply apologising.but i think you can help me and all of us pass your subject. 3.of coarse everyone wishes to have flat 1 but sir if i deserves to have it i want to have it.but 1.5 is ok.u(sir i want to have high grade for my parents) ;D 4. looks like were a little globe, revolving, but honestly i dont like the way we change sits, why?sir imagine if i sit at impyerno and i know the answer to your question i cant answer it right away because i need to wait for my turn w/c it think is unjustify.but in the brighter side its a challege for us to be very good at all times.ryt sir, 5. more musical and classical films,i enjoyed it a lot,i learn so much from it and thank you sir for giving or should i say leting me see that kind of films.till here sir. gutierrez, mary grace(MC0522)

;DTHE FIVE-FOLD QUESTIONS 1. Is this subject worth your tuition fee and time? Why? 2. Are you sure you are going to pass this subject? Why? 3. What grade do you expect to receive in this subject? Why? 4. What do you think of the system used by your professor in the recitation? 5. What suggestions would you like to offer to further improve the delivery of the subject? Answer:: 1. :)absolutely... I am very thankful that depcomm included this to our curriculum... I think our tuition fee has nothing to do here since we have the right to learn hum... Its you, sir sol who is much be given with all my gratitude bec. of all the professors in the Phil., you are a heaven sent to teach me the beauty of every art, to appreciate classical films and music, to inculcate us values that we may apply in the rest of our lives... A sir sol is enough to teach me what I need in life (particularly life giving lessons).... Its really worth it!!! 2. In this world, there's no such thing as assurance... that's what im adhering to... But as I look on my performance, I may say that I will Pass this subj... Remember what I have told you that of all the midterm exams that I took, this is the hardest exam, well it serves as a challenge for me to always focus on what I see and do... I am hoping that I will not only pass this subj but also I hope that I will gain more morals till the last minute of our subj.... Together with my faith in God, I will make my dream happen.... 3. well, 1.5 or 1.25 is all right for me... Im not craving for tose 1.00 in the cards... What is essential is the lessons that it will mark in my mind and in my heart.... You know sir,, I always ponder that although I am not a scholar, I am still happy that I'll enjoying my life as a student... Less pressure, less heartache... 4. It's very unique and challenging since all of us doesnt want to be in infierno..... the 1st tym i had it,, wow!! sobrang nakakakaba at nakakabaliw.... Pero masya!!!! kasi ba naman one shoud recite correctly or else lilipat ka ng lilipat ng seat..... pano na lang pag maliit ka at yung mga nasa harap mo matatangkad??? Kamusta ka naman.... hehehehehe 5. I know that this will not be possible bit I suggest that we have an outdoor activities like watching performances outside the school... asa pa no....well with the efforts that sir sol do to his classes,, wala na...... sir sol makes humanities alive not boring...... lagi na lang sana nood nood, la ng quiz... ahihihi Hey this is VP.... Or vincent paul.... always remember that there are no goodbyes,, just see you later... TC TC TC
