1. ENDO is a short term for End of Contract. The movie revolves around the life of Leo who works hard for his brother and father. He fell in love with Candy but when she went to Paranaque they broke up, then he met Tanya who taught him how to dream.
2. It is a good movie. The strength of the story is the love of Leo for Tanya and the close relationships of Leo, his father and his brother.
3.The character i like the most is Tanya because she is independent and hardworking.
4.The message of the movie is for us to be responsible in our decisions and that life does not always have happy endings.

1.) Leo belongs to a poor family. Because he did not finish his studies, his only option is to work as a contractual worker in various establishments. In one job, he met a high-spirited girl named Tanya with whom he got romantically involved. In their relationship, he wishes to feel fulfillment and sense of security with her but he is not prepared for this additional commitment. 2.) The movie ENDO show the audience the life of an undergrad person, yet giving a lesson that will inspire us to continue living.and giving us the realization that love is really a matter of choice. One of the strength in film is his love for his father and brother, Leo was working for his family. While the weakness shown in the film is how materialistic Candy's love was. 3.)Leo's character shows a real Filipino. a person who is willing to sacrifice his personal happiness for the sake of his family. 4.)I think the director wants to inspire the youth today, to show that there are some people who wanted to study but cannot afford to go to school, yet they are trying to survive the everyday life. And that sometimes you need to sacrifice things to achieve your goals. 5.)THUMBS UP!

1. the story is about leo, who live life, just to survive he has no dreams or any ambition until tanya came to his life, and give him meaning to the things that are really important.
2.the movie is good, compared to some independent film that i've already watch, the script, scenery characters depicts the real scenario in the country, strengths of this film would be the dialogue between each character, because from this scripts we can fully understand the film weakness would be the effects since it is an independent film budget is low so the quality of the film in terms of its cinematography is not of high quality.
3. all the characters has a distinct personality that made the film more interesting like pol, leo's brother from being a bum he start to find a job to help the family. leo's father who at the end let go of the memories of his wife by letting cocky their chciken to go into cockfight. tanya who loved leo so much, but has this big dreams and ambition to give a better life for her family so she left leo. lastly leo, who at first does not have dream nor ambition but after meeting tanya he changes and start to dream again.
4.in my opinion the director would like to give emphasis that life is only temporary and we should live it to the fullest, we must not be afraid to expand our horizons. in terms of culture and era it shows how we filipinos still value our family even if we are living in an era of liberalization.
5."thumbs up"

Guides Questions to Critical Assessment of ENDO1. Provide a brief summary of the film. (Two or three sentences are fine; you don't need to include a lot of details.) 2. State your opinion of the movie. What are its strengths and weaknesses? Provide specific examples (scenes, situations) from the film. 3. What character(s) do you most identify with? What are the main personality traits of this (these) characters? 4. In your opinion, what was the director's intention or message? How does the film relate to Philippine culture? Specifically, how does it relate to the era in which it was made? 5. Finally, give the movie a "thumbs up" or "thumbs down." 1. Endo is about a love story in the world of the contractual worker, where people are trained to accept that everything is temporary. The story revolves around the life and the relationship of Leo and Tanya which was the central character of the story. 2. well this movie as an indie film was really so realistic meaning viewers can really relate to the story but I guess the director should have been use other place as their setting something which can add the interest of the viewers. 3. well i can relate to Leo in His view of a family that we can do everything and we can pass the hardship in life if there is a family that we can turn to even if they were not perfect still we need it, also i can relate to the personality of tanya that being a woman is not a hindrance for us to be successful in life and in our dreams, we woman can do anything just to save our relationship with boys but we should know when to stop from loving a person when he doesn't respect our feelings anymore and when you have suffered enough just to save it. 4. In my opinion the directors intention in the movie was to educate its viewers and to awaken us from the reality that this could happen to us and this is really happening to others that they are not hearsay or based only on the imagination of the writer . well this film is really modern for us to really relate with each characters lets say the hobbies of Leo which was listening to music via mp3's or other modern gadgets that we our generation today is enjoying at. 5. thumbs up

1. Endo short for end of contract. A story between two lovers named Leo and Tanya. Endo is a love story completely devoid of romance. Leo belongs to a poor family that is striving hard just to provide his family and Tanya a girl who has a dream to work at the cruise. Due to many circumstances their love for each other did not succeed.
2. The film is all about love. Love for family, love for special someone. The strength of the movie is when Leo is trying to fight for his love for Tanya. The weakness of the movie is when Leo figured out that his brother didn't enroll in school and when Tanya needed to left him for worl even though they did love each other.
3. Leo. His life is a series of terminable contracts. Unable to finish school and forced to be the family breadwinner, he takes on five month service-oriented jobs, one after another.
4. In my point of view, I think the director wants to convey is to give us lesson to be more responsible in life. Another is that there is no permanent thing here in life it is a symbol for the title "End of Contract".
5. Two thumbs up!

1. The movie is all about a tow lovers who separate ways because of the girl named “Tanya” was leaving for work in Europe. There is a conflict between the two of them because they first think their family before their self. They decided to break their relation for their own good, this movie only give you an idea if there have been also end of contract in love. 2. It was an inspiring movie for us young adult who are experiencing that kind of relationship with their family and loved one. It shows the real view of life happening or will be happen in every persons. It gives moral lesson to the students, for people in a relationship and for the family too. 3. I really admired Leo because of his being a good example of a son and sibling to his brother Pol. He took the responsibility of being a provider in his family, he showed his love and care for his brother even Pol lied to him he easily forgive Pol. 4. For me the director’s intention is to give a lesson that everything has an end and we should accept it with all our heart because everything has a reason why things happened. 5. THUMBS UP!!!! GREAT!!

1. the film was entitled ENDO which means "end of contract". the film was trying to tell us that the things around us may have an end of contract like loving our family and loving our special someone. 2. one of the strengths that i've seen in the movie was when Leo advice his father to went out of their house. it sounds funny but when you think about it, it means that his father should continue his life even without his wife. while one of the weaknesses was when Tanya leave Leo even though she loves him very much. 3. leo. even though he was not able to pursue his studies, he tried his best to support his family especially the education of his brother. 4. i think the opinion of the director is that everything may come to an end and we should be ready about it. it was related to philippine culture through LEO. maybe, in each in everyone of us has a personality of Leo who is always happy despite of trials in life. 5. 1."Endo" is slang for "end of contract," the contract being the usual 6-month working period for wage earners. It is primarily a love story; a well crafted one. It is the kind of independent film that one can really get behind and fall in love with. 2. "Endo" is very real!the story shows the reality about the lives of filipino workers! The story is very interesting, very engaging. The songs will make for a nice hip soundtrack...The cinematography is another very good aspect of the film consistently in keeping with characters and social background.Though at times, the handheld style is distracting..Nevertheless, the editing is still good! ;D 3. I think Leo. a contractual worker who accept the burden just to support his to father and a younger brother.. 4.The message of the story that the director wants to tell the viewers is about the people whom we are made to care about, and the filmmakers take us on the characters' complex emotional journey with humor, grace, and insight. the film ENDO views the life of filipino workers having a 6-months contract with there job. It's a kind of permanent transitory state for these workers, who must repeat the jobhunting cycle every 6 months. 5.very "thumbs up"!

1. Leo was the breadwinner of the family. He wasn't able to finish his studies because of financial problem. He had a relationship with Tanya but it is not a happy ending because when Tanya chooses to go abroad she left Leo in the Philippines. 2. the film ENDO is great compare to other local films. strength- is the love and care of Leo for his family. weakness- is when Tanya left Leo for a job. 3.the personality of leo shows how a real filipino is. A man who can sacrifice his happiness for the sake of his family. 4. i think the director wants to say that we filipinos need to be more responsible in our life and also to our loved ones. Hospitality is the culture that can relate to this film. 5.THUMBS UP!!!
