1. The movie ENDO is about a guy who has been a string of casual girlfriends. And there is only one girl that he really loves and he wants to marry, but it comes to the point turned her on him because of his mistakes before. Then he realized that what he did before is not right. 2. It is a great film, in which we could get lessons that we can use in our daily lives. Like when Leo prioritized his family more thing else. It is one of the best shot in this movie. The weakness is the one that he is not sure about his feeling with the girls that he used to go out. 3. I choose Tanya and Leo. Tanya, because she has dignity, and she can stand for her decisions in life. Leo, because despite of all that he have done wrong he realized in the end that he has to change for the better. 4. In my opinion the directors message to the viewers is that every person has their responsibility and that responsibility should always be remembered in every path that we take. 5. TWO THUMBS UP!

1.the story ENDO is about the boy name LEO. he work in a restaurant with his co workers and after his contract end he find another job that is a sales clerk in a apparel botique. He meet a girl name candy this girl became his girlfriend.
2. my opinion is that the movie must contain a good moral example to students like us.STRENGTH- the movie gives the audience an example of courage for example the courage of leo to face the consiquence of his act when he make love to candy. WEAKNESSES- the movie is non educated because it only show how miserable life would be if you do not finished your studies for example the brother of leo he did not finished his college studies and his life became difficult.
3.LEO, he is brave, industrious, kind, and desperate in a relation ship.
4.on my opinion the directors message or intention is to show us how difficult life is and to acknowledge us how to handle life when you do not finished a college degree. The film relate to Philippine culture in the way of the father of Leo make a traditional gambling "the sabong". it relates in the Era of teen agers today on how they make relationship and how the life today and before.
5. The movie is thumbs up!

1. A movie entitled "ENDO". its main characters are Leo and Tanya. This movie is about how a relationship ends as their contract in their job comes to end also. 2. The movie shows the real thing. It actually happens in real life of a typical family in the Philippines which is one of its strengths. The actors and actresses are also good. 3. Leo and Tanya represents most of the Filipinos. Hard-working and taking care of their family. 4. Certainly, everything will come to an end but you should not live in the past but rather for the future. 5. THUMBS UP!!

Garcia, Gelliza G. IA05407 1. Graded "A" by the Cinema Evaluation Board (CEB), Endo is the story of Leo (played by Star Magic talent Jason Abalos), a contractual worker who is used to temporary situations. Typical of many young Filipinos, he hops from one contractual job to the next in order to earn a living for himself and his family. 2. The movie portrays a usual or rather typical life of an ordinary Filipino worker who did not finished his/her college level. The one that captures my attention in the movie was Tanya’s role. She is very determined to pursue her dreams. 3. Both Tanya and Leo’s character. For Tanya, she has so many dreams not just for herself but also for her family for them to have a better life. And Leo, who is willing to sacrifice anything; he stopped his schooling to work and provide the needs of their family. 4. For me, the director’s message is that, we Filipinos are strong even though we know that everything in this world will come to an end. We still go on with ourlives. How does the film relate to Philippine Culture? We are known to be hardworking, not just in the house but also in workplace. 5. Definitely THUMBS UP!!!

1. Provide a brief summary of the film. (Two or three sentences are fine; you don't need to include a lot of details.) - Leo belongs to a poor family. Because he did not finish his studies, his only option is to work as a contractual worker in various establishments. In one job, he met a high-spirited girl named Tanya with whom he got romantically involved. In their relationship, he wishes to feel fulfillment and sense of security with her but he is not prepared for this additional commitment. 2. State your opinion of the movie. What are its strengths and weaknesses? Provide specific examples (scenes, situations) from the film. -strengths - leo is a good son that he work so hard for his family and one of its strengths is it speaks of the realities that surrounds us. - weaknesses - since its a love story, leo used to love tanya so he can forget his love to candy. people used other people and love things 3. What character(s) do you most identify with? What are the main personality traits of this (these) characters? - candy - material girl and user - tanya - strong person, she stands for her decision, wants a job security - leo - thoughtful and loving son, a loving boyfriend, am industrious employee, a true person 4. In your opinion, what was the director's intention or message? How does the film relate to Philippine culture? Specifically, how does it relate to the era in which it was made? - that things come and go. nothing is permanent. -filipinos are hardworking, responsible, loving and thoughtful 5. Finally, give the movie a "thumbs up" or "thumbs down." - thumbs up

Endo is a story between to lovers that had a conflict with their goals in their life. Leo just want a simple life and want to live his life with tanya. Tanya in the other end wants to work abroad to support help parents. Leo doesn’t want Tanya to leave but for Tanya her main priority is her work. 2. The movie was subtle and graceful unlike other dramatic films. I think ENDO’s stregnth was that it was genuine. 3. Leo he is responsible, he accepts the reality that he will never be rich and he doesn’t want to be one. He is very true to himself and a loving person. 4. In my opinion the message of the movie was even love has an ENDO. It was a reflection of our culture on how we deal with love and work. 5. Up Up Up ^^^^ Calisin Julius P. IA05407 Attachments:

1. The word ENDO slang for End of contract. Leo’s life is a series of terminable contracts. Unable to finish school and forced to be the family breadwinner, he takes on five month service-oriented jobs, one after another. 2. It's a great movie. In one job, he met a high-spirited girl named Tanya with whom he got romantically involved. In their relationship, he wishes to feel fulfillment and sense of security with her but he is not prepared for this additional commitment. 3. Leo. He sacrifice his own dream for the sake of his family especially his brother. 4. For me the director's message is if you have a dream pursue it to make it happen. Many Filipinos especially the poor one doesn't have a dream to make their life more comfortable, they are contented on what they have. 5. Thumbs Up!!

1. ENDO is about the life of Leo being a contractual worker. His love life is compared to his work such that every time his contract ends, his affair with somebody ends as well. He fell seriously in love with a girl named Tanya, but the relationship didn't work out because the girl chose to pursue her dreams... 2. The story of the movie is a good one because it is something that I can personally relate to. The strength is showed in the performance of the actors and actresses because they did very well with their roles. On the other hand, the weakness is the ending itself because what happened to Leo and Tanya was not clearly showed... 3. Tanya... Isn't it obvious that I share the same name with her? And besides, I think I have some traits that are similar to her, specifically the urge to always work on something I really want... 4. Maybe the director wanted to show the viewers about the characteristics of the youth, specially being aggressive - one in terms of pursuing what they want, and two in terms of exploring things... In today's era, the youth is aggressive such that they are the ones who work to have the family surviving. They are also aggressive in terms of their curiosity with love and sensuality... 5. THUMBS UP

1. Endo is a short term for end of contract, the story revolves around a guy who works hard for his father and brother. Then, when he found a new job he fell in love with a girl who dreams of having a good life. 2. The movie is very touching because of the attitudes of the characters. It gives a moral lesson like the scene between Leo and his brother, they fought because he found out that his brother did not study. For me, we should value everything that our relatives gives for us because they work hard just to give it for us. 3. Leo and Tanya are the characters that have strong personality in the film. Leo is very independent, hardworking, he gives his families needs without any hesitation. Tanya is also the same with Leo, she provides everything for her family and willing to sacrifice just to make their life good. 4. Well i guess the director's intention is to give lesson to the people to be responsible for their family. They should learn how to balance and patch things up between love and family. 5. THUMBS UP! ;D

1.The story is about the "End of Contract"a.k.a ENDO.The story goes to a name Leo he broke -up to his ex name Candy because the girl is going to work in Las_piñas and Leo is not want to have a relation in a long distance.when he work in a department store he meet Tanya she also working in that mall.Tanya is so much love in Leo but Leo in not so loyal in her because he have a relation with Candy her Ex-girlfriend when he knew that Tanya is the one that she really love he try to talk to him but in the in Tanya go on the Cruise ship in the end he fine another work.
2.I think it's a great movie because it is tell about the world of working and loving one person and betrayal. How to support a family when your parent don't have a work. . .
3.Leo is the man he is hardworking, independent and a good son because he let his brother pol to study instead on him.
4.I think the director's intention is about how Filipino work hard even it is a small and simple but in the end we always smile to show them that we can work with a smile.
5.Thumbs up!

1. Leo belongs to a poor family, because he did not finished studies he try to work in a various establishments. In one job he met a girl which is Tanya, with whom he romantically involved. They became lovers after Leo broke up with his ex girlfriend. When Tanya got accepted in her job she went in abroad. And then Leo got his new job and continues to wait for Tanya to come back again. 2. It was nice to see that kind of movie. Different from other Filipino movie. I like the scene that Tanya chooses her job her instead of being with Leo. She wants to fulfill her dream to have a nice job. 3. I like Tanya’s character. Her character relates to the Philippine culture like she’s being a hard working girl. She’s doing all her best to fulfill her dreams. 4. The director wants us to feel that this is a primarily love story, a well crafted one at that. It is the kind of independent film that one can really get behind and fall in love with. It is a well-crafted, affecting love story told from the heart. Inspired performances from everyone, especially from the actors. Clearly, the director has a bright future ahead. 5. Thumbs Up!

1. Leo coming from a poor family with his brother and father, fall in love with Tanya. In their relationship, he wishes to feel fulfillment and sense of security with her but he is not prepared for this additional commitment. Then, when Tanya is about to leave the country, Leo shows how much he loved Tanya. 2. I like the story of the movie. how to control yourself when your in love. one of the strengths, is when they are both aiming for good life. Weakness, when they broke up and Tanya left. 3. Tanya. She is a hardworking person and never gave up on any problems in her life. She wants to have a good life and also willing to sacrifice for the sake of her family and her love one. 4. I think the director wants us to understand that life has many challenges and obstacles to conquer. Specially here in our country. Filipinos are known to be hardworking people and will do anything for the sake of our love ones. Like our quote. "try and try until you succeed". 5. THUMBS UP! THUMBS UP! (BULAN, ALVIN S.)

The genius of this film is that it manages to say something about our society in the most subtle of ways. 3. Leo, he’s personality is nice and he works a lot for his family. 4. The director wanted the film to stick to the truth as much as it could, since he sees the film as a loving tribute to the young contractual workers of today. His goal was just accurately depict the situation without being patronizing or condescending. 5. Thumbs Up!
