1. the title of the movie is ENDO, which means "End of Contract". as i watch the film, it was all about the life of leo, who was the breadwinner of his family and dreams to finish his studies. but because of his father's illness, he end up working in different establishments which didnt last for long. as the film goes by, he met tanya a sales lady in a department store. tanya fell inlove to leo but their relationship didnt last for long because tanya wants to pursue her dream job and chose to grab it. 2. in my opinion, the story tells us the reality of the Filipino people. the story revolves around the ending of contracts and life of leo. but in the end, their are questions in my mind like, is the story goes around the endo or the life of leo? 3. Leo, because he is the lead character in the story as far as i know. the main personality or trait of leo is that, he is harworking and responsible son to his father. 4. the intention of the director is to let the people know how hard and complicated our life is. it was a reflection to the life of each filipino people. its not easy living a life without doing anything. we must be responsible enough to satisfy what we need. 5. THUMBS UP!

1. The short film was entitled “endo”, which means “end of contract”. It was a story of love, trials, challenges and choices. Leo and Tanya as its lead characters, has different dreams. The man just wanted here, while the woman wants to work on ship in order to fulfill her dreams. 2. The movie contains some scenes that made us students realize life after when you don’t finish studies. Strength, when Tanya still pursue her dreams, even though its hard to leave the one you love. Weakness, I hate scenarios when a person stands for his family, and one of his/her siblings’ just waste the money he/ she earning. 3. Tanya for her willingness to give up love just to fulfill her dreams, and her faith that when she’s back Leo is still there for him. 4. The director wants the viewer to realize things, like fulfilling your dreams, when someone or something goes, someone or something comes back in return. 5. Thumbs up

1. Provide a brief summary of the film. (Two or three sentences are fine; you don't need to include a lot of details.)- Leo belongs to a poor family. Because he did not finish his studies, his only option is to work as a contractual worker in various establishments. In one job, he met a high-spirited girl named Tanya with whom he got romantically involved. In their relationship, he wishes to feel fulfillment and sense of security with her but he is not prepared for this additional commitment. The title “Endo” comes from a slang expression “end of contract”. 2. State your opinion of the movie. What are its strengths and weaknesses? Provide specific examples (scenes, situations) from the film.- The movie is simple yet worth watching. The story goes directly to the point that it has no space for boredom. It was also very realistic and caters to its audience emotions. For me, the strength of the film would be Leo, a worker who failed to finish his studies and wasn’t able to find stability in life but still manage to be strong and understanding to support his family and it's weakness is the ending of the story, for being unpredictable. Most of the audience would never think it won’t be a happy ending for Leo and Tanya. It only focused on the title itself. 3. What character(s) do you most identify with? What are the main personality traits of this (these) characters?- Leo, for being understanding and supportive to his family, for breaking-up with his ex-girlfriend just to be with his present girlfriend. It shows that as we been through a lot of problems, we still remain strong and can make right decisions. 4. In your opinion, what was the director's intention or message? How does the film relate to Philippine culture? Specifically, how does it relate to the era in which it was made?- For me, the director's intention is to show how love, education, poverty and family relationships can affect people's feelings, that it can be either a determination or distraction. Leo is only a representation of hundreds of people here in the Philippines who works temporarily in small companies or factories and experiencing poverty. There are many people like him who don’t have a stable life and the government can’t do anything to help them. 5. Finally, give the movie a "thumbs up" or "thumbs down." - THUMBS UP - Chelsea Elvina h08302

1.) ENDO is a short word for "End of Contract. Leo, lead actor, wasn't able to finish his studies and his only option is to work as a contractual worker in any establishments. In his work, he met Tanya and he fall in love with her. 2.) Its a nice movie. at some point, i understand what the movie is trying to say. Strength: The film showed the life of Filipino family and its common real life love story. Weakness: The love of those two were left unclear. 3.) Leo. Leo was able to fulfill his responsibilites to his family even though he wasnt able to finish his studies.but one thing i dont like about his character, he enters relationships more by routine than love. 4.) dream about your future. we know that most Fillipinos dont have dreams in their lives specially those in lower ones. they are just contented on what they have. 5.) Thumbs up!

1. The film Endo is a short term for "End of Contract". The film rotated on the life of Leo, lead actor, wherein his life is under the series of terminable contracts. He wasn't able to finish his studies and was forced to become the family's breadwinner due to his sick father. 2. It is a great Indie movie. It gives moral lesson. The strength of the film is Leo gives support and help his Dad to support the family. It gives lesson that family must stick and help with each other no matter what trials in life. The weakness is when Tanya left Leo even their love is strong and has bonded, Tana chooses to go to other country to look for better life 3. Leo is the characters that have best personality in the movie. Leo is hardworking, good son that provides the needs of his family. While, Pol is the brother of Leo, he always uses the name of God. He lied because he kept secret that he is not attending class to his brother ad kept the money for his own satisfaction rather than spending it in his studies. 4. In my opinion, the director's intention is to give lesson for people to be more responsible and never lie to your family. The family is helping each other. 5. Thumbs up

It gives moral lesson to all of us that needs to face all the obstacles and hardship that will can be encounter in life. 3.Tanya she is a responsible ,kind and hardworking woman . she sacrifice her love life and went abroad to have a better life. 4.I think the director intention is that , their is an ENDING in everything that we do.theirs no permanent in this world, so enjoy every seconds that you are still alive and cherish every moment to your love ones. 5.THUMBS UP!!

1.Endo is an acronym for End of Contract.A story about a contractual worker named Leo,whose life is a series of terminable contracts. He is a breadwinner in the family. His Lovelife has been a string of casual girlfriends, each one stays symbollically in his life through an object that he borrowed. 2.Endo is an execellent film.It is made simply but the ideas and the message are clearly understand. It had shown that we need to fulfill our responsiblities to our family. However on the negative side it reminded us that everything in this world are temporary. 3.Leo has a strong personality in the film,he had shown the positive side of the story, because he is responsible, opposite to the character of his brother. 4.The director's message to the audience is that to remind us that everything in this world is temporary and the only constant things are changes. The movie also had Shown that Filipinos are responsible and we are willing to sacrifice just for the sake of our family. And most importantly it had shown that Filipoinos valued their family. 5.Thumbs up..!

1.) the film is about Leo, a hardworking b breadwinner. because his father cannot work anymore. Leo struggles in his Family and Love life also. his father has a diabetes while his brother was not attending his class.
2.) It is a good movie that shows many strengths, it helps you realize that it is not the end of the world when something went wrong. like when Leo's mother abandoned them, they still stick and fight together.
3.) Leo and Pol are the characters that is identifiable. their personalities contrasts with each other. Leo is a hardworking, obedient and a good son. while Pol is an irresponsible son.
4.) It Shows many intention and message. One is that the family must stay together no matter what happens. they help each other in many ways. that's one trait that is recognizable in every family.
5.) A 100% thumbs Up. ;D

1. A story is entitled as "ENDO" which means of End of Contract. The Story is about the two lovers which Leo is the simple guy who is always who work for his family while Pol his brother lied that he is studying. 2. My opinion about the movie is typical life of a Filipino family. It is a sad reality that almost every Filipino has to undergo several contracts to be able to provide the needs of their family. I find Tanya's scene of pursuing her life long dream rather than settling with Leo as the strength of the movie. 3. Leo though he didn't finish his studies, looked for a job in order to finance his needs and his family. Also his characteristic as a typical person who doesn't have grouch with what he has. Tanya, because in the film, she have many dreams that want to pursue. She never gave up even if she was facing problems. and she taught Leo to dream, and made it come true. 4. My opinion is the director wants to give moral lesson 5. Thumbs up

1. A story is entitled as "ENDO" which means of End Of Contract.A story between lovers who are in love but they had conflict. A story about the hardships in life and love.
2. The movie wants us to see the life of some filipinos who is not lucky enough to have a life full of opportunities. The story gives us an idea what will happen in our life when we will not finish our studies. I believe the strength in the story is when leo accept the the truth when candy wants to break up with him and go on with his life while the weakness is when leo and candy make up again while leo is in a relationship to tanya.
3. I can relate well with the characters of Leo and Tanya. They have the desire, determination of getting what they want. They know what they want in life; they have dreams and they will do anything and everything just to achieve it.
4. The Director's message is we Filipinos are strong-willed and can still smile after all the hardships.
5. THUMBS UP! ;D

1.) The movie ENDO (End of contract) is about Leo's life, who is the lead actor in the film, who works very hard for his family. It's also about love and sacrifices. This is about the two people who love each other but choose to follow their dreams and forget about thei 2.)About the movie, it's good. I understand what do the movie wants to convey with the people. It really shows the real thing that is happening in our lives. 3.)I can relate to both of them. Leo is a very hard working man. He is the breadwinner of the family. *Tanya, I find her simple. She works hard just to achieve her goals in life. 4.)I guess, the director wants to convey what is really happening in the real world. That we Filipino really works hard for us to get what we want. We never stop until we reach our dreams. ) 5.)THUMBS UP!

1. It is a story about real life struggles, explorations and love.
2. The movie was interesting. It gave me the realization of what life would be if i didn't finish my studies. I watched Leo struggle to find a job and to keep things in place. The only weakness of this film was the ending, it kept me hanging. It wasn't really what you can call a "happy ending."
3. I can relate well with the character of Leo. Being the eldest and the bread winner, We have the same determination to lift our family from poverty.
4. The director's intent was to let the youth realize the importance of finishing their studies while they have the opportunity. The film relates to Philippine culture because of the humbleness and hospitality shown by Leo and his family to Tanya in the film. 5. Thumbs up.

Guides Questions to Critical Assessment of ENDO1. The story "ENDO" or end of contract. the two lovers Leo and tanya had conflict and get separated. leo is the "bread winner" of his family and tanya find opportunity to have a good job in europe. 2. It gives a moral lesson to every one. The strengths in this movie is that it enlightened our mind and don't give up to any kind of trials and challenges in life. the weaknesses is that tanya chooses to go to europe for a better future. 3.
