>>I have inteligent, knowledgable and hardworking professor i guess thats just enough for me to say my that its worth my time and the money i spent for the subject Humanities. At first, i was really amazed of his introduction of himself. That was very unique and funny, since then, everytime i see Mr. Solmerano at the campus, these are the lines thats playing in my mind "HERE I COME TO SAVE THE DAY 2X" (WITH ACTION) hehe! *peace*. anyways, I learned alot in his subject... >>I guess im gonna pass his subject. i had a good grades this prelims, and i'll will study harder for me to improve my grades. >>ahhmmm.... 1.75 or better... >>It's unique yet a bit disturbing to the concentrations of the students who are waiting for their turns. Everyone should really work hard to get to the first row. >>Hmmm.. nothing... i enjoy the subject.. =)

for me this subject is worth my tuition and time because it is not boaring i enjoyed the subj. and most of all it teaches me lots of new things, im not sure if i can pass this subject because i failed on my prelim grade due to my absences, but im doing my best to make up with my failed grade . i expect to recieve a fair and very good grade ;D which reflects on the work and effort i exerted hehe. 2.0 will be fine ;D. the sytem that were using is very good nothing compares its makes the class very attentive and very exiting its learing with fun. i have no other suggestions my only advice is keep up the good work the good films and the very nice introduction ;D. this subject is one of the best subject i've encountered and its all because of the prof. ;D

1. i think this subject is worth my time and my tuition fee because i am learning a lot in this subject. humaities may be less academic but it helps us students to look deeper in the arts of our everyday life. it makes us understand that every art has an underlying story or lesson that every person who looks, watches or listens in the art has to know or see in able for them to appreciate it. in short humanities makes me appreciate art more. 2. i couldn't say that i will surely pass this subject, but i am expecting that i will not fail. ;D ;D 3. i expect to get a flat 1.o!!ECHOT!!maybe somewhere between 1.75-2.25...(i wish! i wish!!) 4. i think the system used in the recitation is cool because it gives his students the chance to get higher recitation grades. the system is in favor of his students, though sometimes i still get lost in this system. 5. i think that in order for the subject to improve, we(students) should also get involved because sometimes, specially during film showing, students tend pay less attention once the scene gets boring and they do other stuffs not related to the subject. tata!!!

1.For me, yes! This subject is worth for us, because these subjects open our awareness to the different kinds of music. It is enjoyable for me to watch films that I never expected that I can be more appreciate music as well as opera. 2. Yes! Because I do my best to have and get a good grades and I always try my best 3.I’ve been expecting that I can receive a grade of 1.75, because I passed all the requirements in this subject and I always participate during recitation. 4.The system used by our professor was very unusual and unique. I enjoyed it. I think this system can help us so that everyone of us will scan our notes during our class day for us to participate in the recitation. 5. The only thing that I can suggest is to have a educational for that is related to this subject matter, for us to become much more aware and appreciate art.

1. yes! Because it wouldn’t be one of the subject in our curriculum if it is nothing and will help us to appreciate what is all about. It is fun to know all about arts.
2.Yes! Because I learn to appreciate all about art that I do ignore and I am not interested before.
3.1.75, because I know Ii am not bright student I have many mistakes but I able to come up to it.
4.The system used by our professor in the recitation is fair to the student who knows the answer and they are able to sit at the front which has already the designated grade.
5.More outside activity of the subject like art gallery or like orchestra at the stage.

Yes, it worth my tuition fee and of course my time. I've learned to appreciate more about arts-- from music to different films which i thought was boring but I was wrong. Especially the film of Mozart. I really like it. I've learned many things in those films we had watched and I had enjoyed watching it. I really can't say sir if I am going to pass this subject but I think I deserve to . I don't know what grade will I get all I want is a grade which I deserve. During recitation, it's ok for me because all of us have the chance to recite and participate. I think sir that we should watch more movies this finals because I already enjoyed watching those kind of films.. ;D thank you sir..

1. Yes!.. 'cause i really learned allot.. it's not like the other subjects that you should memorize or something, but here i learned not through facts and the info i gained, but on how to see the meaning of everything.. the meaning behind every thing.. the art.. i begin to love the art.. i learned to understand the message behind those symbols.. above all, i learned so many things about life, watching those movies helps me allot, especially "rent". the best!.. 2. For me, yes I'll pass.. I study if there's an exam or recitations, so that I can have a good grade.. and it works 'cause my grade was ok last prelims.. Also because, I apply what I have learned in this subject, and I think that is one proof that I really gained something from this subject.. 3. If I would be the one to asked what grade I want, ofcourse it's flat one! yeah!.. hehe!.. I would be very happy for that.. and I'm sure my mother would be also be happy for me.. hahaha!.. cause I received a grade of one only in PE subjects.. ;D 4. About the recitation, it's ok for me, 'cause I do good in my quizzes that's why I always seated in front or to the next line in front, but I think for some, It's a bit unfair cause they do not have the chance to make bawi cause they we're seated at the back.. 5. For me, the way sir deliver the subject and the topics is already ok.. Maybe, more interesting movies to watch and maybe try other recit system..
.. sir! thanks for everthing!.. I really love the movies you've shared on us.. especially "RENT".. I learned so many things.. "no day but today" is the best moral lesson I've learned from that sir!.. hehe!.. fave line of that song, "forget, regret, or life is yours to missed".. Thanks for all sir!.. take care always.. keep up the good work and Godbless.. and oh!.. just wanna say, "you always said that you are lucky cause we we're your students, but it was us sir, who are the lucky ones!.." {[tambling ang batang si poLyen]} - ;)pauluien08

1. Yes, this subject is worth of our tuition and time although it is not one of our major subjects still it can help us in our everyday life. Especially us nursing students, it helps us to be patient, to appreciate everything around us. It helps us to appreciate arts around us, and I like this subject because all we do is just watch, watch and watch. It is your decision if you are not going to pay attention but as far as I can remember all of my classmates pay attention with those movies we had watched because all of those movies were the best films and very interesting. 2. For me Sir I’ am not that sure that I will pass the subject, but I know that I did my best. And also I don’t find the subject boring, every time he have this subject I’m excited because we are going to watch a movie for free… 3. For me, grade that I deserve, but of course, I would like to receive the grade of flat one. 4. I like the recitation part, because it is not boring but very exciting. We have to study the lesson before entering the class so we are not going to seat at the “impyerno” part. 5. nothing, I’ am satisfied with the way he discuss the subject, and the film viewing is so great, it’s my first time to have a subject that all we do is to watch movies.

GUdevening sir! ;D SY0241 student from FEU. 1.Yes! i definitely agree to all of your students that the subject is absolutely worth of my tuition fee. Why? Because through humanities i gained more appreciation on things i thought that was very boring before.Example a usical type of movie, at first before i had this subject i never liked it now it is different.2.I am very much sure on passing the subject bacause i am very eager to learn, do my assignments, listen to our dear pr0f and be responsible enough as a student.3.Grade?1.25 or 1.50??? not 2.00...HOPE SO!4.The system used by our prof is so new and very different. At first it feels uncomortable but i realized it is better than the ordinary recitation because everyone is given a grade. 5.HOpe after watching a movie it will be discuss in the class so that everyone will understand it.MOre activities and that's all sir!!!!Thanks!

1. Definitely, it is worth it because you will learn something great and at the same time you will really enjoy the subject matter. This subject brings bliss to anyone. ;D 2. I am 100% sure because I have passed all my requirements on time as well as I exert more efforts to get higher grades. 3. Honestly, I want to have a grade of 1.00..because I am doing everything I can...And I think I deserve it..hehehe 4. It is unusual compare to the other grading system but it is more challenging. 5. Stay the same...Godbless!!!!

1. Of course! i've learn a lot from this subject and it exposed me to the wonderful field of arts which I really love. Thanks a lot sir your one of a kind!
2. Yes I'm sure that i gonna pass this subject based from my efforts and hardwork in this subject. And as far as i know professor Solmerano is very generous in giving grades (di ba sir?). =)
3. Flat One!! is not that i'm over confident but I believe that I really exerted effort in this subject and i also believe that i deserved that grade.
4. It's a very good system. I don't believe that it's unfair for some students because you really have to study hard and come early to class to avoid sitting at the back. This system will force lazy students to do something for themselves and as I observe only few students commit absences in this subject.
5. Continue the good job sir! that's all..
