Evaluation Questions on Dead Poets Society?
1. Did you like this film in general? Why? --> Yes, it's very tragic in a way, and very emotional 2. Did you agree with the main theme/purpose that the film wants to convey? Why or why not? -->Yes, because in the Dead Poet's Society, you can express yourself in a unique way. The characters was able to show there desire and emotions, and i think life shouldn't be a burden.
3. What specifically did you like/dislike about the film? Why? -->I didn't agree with Neil killing himself, because there are many ways you can say things to your parents or to others, without the use of violence. I think Neil has a weak personality, which is ironic, because his a powerful person in school.
4. What lesson or insight have you learned from the film? -->You can be anything, or anyone you want, if you are willing to give all and be happy to do it.
5. Did the author/actors/director do a good job in the film? Why or why not? -->The whole production is very excellent, because the transitions of characters is well flowing through the scenes. The movie made me cry a little, for i was moved with the grief of the characters.
6. What particular changes would you like to recommend to further enhance the quality of the film? How could it be further improved? -->An alternative ending. Like after the credits, a scene would flash, showing Robin Williams driving through fields, and a little footnote on every character, on how they have become after he left.
