1. Did you like this film in general? Why? Yes, the story is great and the actors are good. The movie has numerous and very inspiring messages. The script has a lot of suprises. 2. Did you agree with the main theme/purpose that the film wants to convey? Why or why not? Yes, the movie shows the difference between the ideal world to the real world. Though you like to have a happy and complete family, because of circumstances, it may not happen. I also agree that when you give love to other people, they will always appreciate it and also give love in return. 3. What specifically did you like/dislike about the film? Why? I like the script because it is not boring and the actors did well. I do not like the things that Vilma said about women and their desire to make love to any guy. 4. What lesson or insight have you learned from the film? Creating a child is easy and fun but making them a better person is the most important and hardest part of a parent. Everything you do is like a ball that is thrown to the wall, it will always return to you. 5. Did the author/actors/director do a good job in the film? Why or why not? Yes, the movie is perfect. They all did a good job. 6. What particular changes would you like to recommend to further enhance the quality of the film? How could it be further improved? None, it is a very nice movie as it is. Just remove the shouting habit of Albert Martinez, I can't understand what is he saying.

1. yes, i like the film because it shows a lot of real things that is happening in our lives. the movie was so fantastic, great and realistic.I learned a lot about the role of the woman in her community and how she deals her problems.
2. yes because it tackles the real situation that is happening in some other women. The film depicts the society’s view of women, how it is to be a mother, and how a mother executes this role through modern-day concepts of parenthood.
3. as i have said i like the whole movie. and also the actors were great. it is a job well done.
4. in this film i have learned that women and not just women but all of us should fight for our rights. this made me realize how mother sacrifice just for the sake of her children.
5. the author and even the director made their job a well they are. because they were able to express clearly what was the film all about.
6. particular changes that i would you like to recommend to further enhance the quality of the film? hmmmm. maybe i will say... no, it does not need more improvement. for me, it is a one of a kind movie.

Reaction Paper: Bata Bata paano ka ginawa?
This film presents the story of Lea Bustamante (Vilma Santos), a strong-minded woman marching to the beat of her own drum. As the mother of two children born of different fathers, Lea has lived her life outside the constraints of social convention, but when her former lovers reemerge to stake their claim on their kin, Lea must reassess her principles for the sake of her children. The novel began with an introductory chapter about the graduation day of Maya, Lea’s daughter. A program and a celebration were held. In the beginning, everything in Lea’s life were going smoothly – her life in connection with her children, with friends of the opposite gender, and with her volunteer work for a human rights organization. But Lea’s children were both growing-up – and Lea could see their gradual transformation. There were the changes in their ways and personalities: Maya’s curiosity was becoming more obvious every day, while Ojie was crossing the boundaries from boyhood to teenage to adulthood. A scene came when Lea’s former husband came back to persuade Ojie to go with him to the United States. Lea experienced the fear of losing both her children, when the fathers of her children decide to take them away from her embrace. She also needed to spend more time for work and with the organization she was volunteering for. In the end, both of Lea’s children decided to choose to stay with her – a decision that Lea never forced upon them. Another graduation day of students was the main event in the novel’s final chapter, where Lea was the guest-of-honor. Lea delivered a speech that discusses the topic of how life evolves, and on how time consumes itself so quickly, as fast as how human beings grow, change, progress and mature. Lea leaves a message to her audience that a graduation day is not an end because it is actually the beginning of everything else that will come in a person’s life.

Sa North Diversion Road
This film is an adaptation of a play by Tony Perez, "Sa North Diversion Road". Originally, the play "Sa North Diversion Road" is a story of two couples who are fighting about infidelity while driving along the North Diversion Road (now called the North Luzon Express Way). The story is actually quite simply. A married couple is cruising by the North Diversion Road, the highway that connects Metropolitan Manila to the northern provinces. The couple is on the verge of break-up, with the husband recounting a recent philandering. In a stroke of genius by Marasigan, he edits the film with ten of the different scenarios recounted from a recurring point of the story. The scenarios range from comedic, dramatic, and hyphaluting --- all in different levels of brilliance.
This is one of the best Filipino films that I have ever seen. I highly recommend everyone to watch this movie.

1. Did you like this film in general? Why?
yes, in general the story is meaningful although the words used are somehow harsh and rude.
2. Did you agree with the main theme/purpose that the film wants to convey? Why or why not?
yes, it's all about the woman in the society today. moreover, it shows the reality that life is not always what we want it to be just like in the family of vilma in the story. her family turns out to be a broken one but even if such happened, she still can manage it on her own.
3. What specifically did you like/dislike about the film? Why?
somehow, i do not like some of the terms that vilma said. again, it is rude. though we can say that she is just being real and true to her self and others, it is still awkward to hear such words from a woman.
4. What lesson or insight have you learned from the film?
in life, we must face the reality that in making a family, the couples should also use their minds. it is because at the end, if they will only decide to get separated, the children will suffer. likewise in parenthood, as in the film's script, it is easy to make a child; the difficult part is making them a better person.
5. Did the author/actors/director do a good job in the film? Why or why not?
yes, it won't be famous even at this time if such persons behind didn't do a good job.
6. What particular changes would you like to recommend to further enhance the quality of the film? How could it be further improved?
none, it's almost perfect.. just right enough...

1. Did you like this film in general? Why? Yes. I definitely like it since it talks about different roles of a woman in the society. 2. Did you agree with the main theme/purpose that the film wants to convey? Why or why not?
Yes, I agree with the main theme. I agree because I was also a woman. I do understand certain portions of it.
3. What specifically did you like/dislike about the film? Why?
I love how the role of Vilma Santos deals with her kids. She maybe too loud with some of topics, but at least they have open communication. It’s god that they’re (kids) question were personally answered by their mom.
4. What lesson or insight have you learned from the film?
“Love and respect each and every woman in this society”
On a woman’s perspective, I must know, exercise and fight for my right. This world is not just for men! Girls and boys should have equal footing.
5. Did the author/actors/director do a good job in the film? Why or why not?
Yes. I must say that the author/actors/director did a great job. It is all because they were able to deliver it well and they were able to impart us lessons.
6. What particular changes would you like to recommend to further enhanced the quality of the film? How could it be further improved?
I will not change anything. It’s a masterpiece.

1. Did you like this film in general? Why? :: yes because it's about women..haha..and it's fun to watch, a combination of drama and comedy. 2. Did you agree with the main theme/purpose that the film wants to convey? Why or why not? :: yes because it portrays the real life; that women have different roles in our society, good and bad.. 3. What specifically did you like/dislike about the film? Why? :: i like most the part where Lea and the principal talked about the children's surnames at the end of the movie because it's inspiring..and it's true..it opened my mind to the idea that though we just copy our father of husband's surname, we are still the woman we once were, and we have the choice to stay that way. 4. What lesson or insight have you learned from the film? :: (1) i've learned that women are the ones who hold up the relationship; be compassionate..(2) despite life's complexities, we can still be happy, and we should be. (3) nobody owns us, so we are not obliged to do things for other people..but rather, we do those things because we love them. MOST IMPORTANTLY (4) we make our own name. 5. Did the author/actors/director do a good job in the film? Why or why not? :: yes,.the cast is good, especially vilma, serena and carlo. all three of them are flexible and the director managed to emphasize different emotions through variations of tone. 6. What particular changes would you like to recommend to further enhance the quality of the film? How could it be further improved? :: nothing more. it is good as it is.
