Are you sure you are going to pass this subject? Why? -yup, nd with flying colors,y not?when a subj got my ineterest, i'll do whatever it takes to have high grades... 3. What grade do you expect to receive in this subject? Why? - i want a flat 1.00, but i think 1.25 will do..but not 1.5, it's a no no no.... 4. What do you think of the system used by your professor in the recitation? - i think it's cool. but i hate it when i got late for about .000000000000001 second, and instantly im seated at the back... 5. 1. Yes, because what matters most to me is that I learned something. 2. Yes, because I will. ;D 3. I would like to define my grade as it is. 4. I don't find anything wrong with the recitation proper but I do find something wrong in the grading system of students' recitation. Those who have low grades in their quizzes are double jeopardized by having a low grade also in the recitation. Besides, even those who have the same score in the quizzes don't receive a fair grade. who's got to sit first? considering that many students have the same score. what if the whole class got the same score... then who would sit first and who would be seated in the last chair... isn't it unfair that you got the same score in the quiz but you don't get a grade of 95 in the recitation but rather you'll have a grade of 75 just because you're in the last chair? ;D ;D ;D 5. Tell the students what is to be discussed next. Be open to students' own understanding of the text because you may not know that the text you're discussing have already been studied by the student in their other or previous lessons. you may not know that what the student is sharing in the class is what the student learned from his class before. I think, there is no wrong interpretation but there is a better one.

1. it worth my one and a half hour. though i already appreciate literature because i also write essays, the subject taught me to know the meaning of each story or poem we discuss.
2. i am proud to say yes, even its hard to classify the the elements, fugurative speech and devices, i think my efforts and hardwork will help me make it.
3. grades that hardworking and adaptable students deserve...
4. it's a unique idea commpared to some, it's interesting but sometimes it does not match the grades a student must get.
5. using visual and audio aids are good, the explanation of the professor is also clear but its more enjoyable if the students will also speak of their understanding about the sotries and poems... (group discusssion)

1. Is this subject worth your tuition fee and time? Why?
Definitely. Because this subject is something new and interesting too considering that most of the time we deal with accounting theories and problems. I really love reading stories and I am happy because I get to use my imagination.
2. Are you sure you are going to pass this subject? Why?
Yes. I feel that I'm deserving to pass this subject because I really give my best in everything I do. I have faith in myself.
3. What grade do you expect to receive in this subject? Why?
Nothing lower than 1.75. Because I believe my performance falls within that range.
4. What do you think of the system used by your professor in the recitation?
I think that the professor uses a unique and creative system but I feel that it can still be improved to reflect a better measurement of the students' performance.
5. What suggestions would you like to offer to further improve the delivery of the subject?
I suggest more film viewing activities, and greater opportunity for students to express their own opinions and interpretations of literary works during class discussions.

1. Is this subject worth your tuition fee and time? Why? 100% worth it! I really learned a lot from this subject like the new words and the symbols and everything! The poems also surprised me whenever we decode the meanings of each line or verse. It also enhanced my writing skills because of the response journal and the assignments wherein I have to make my own ending and all that. The subject is so fun (even if the exams are quite difficult) that I forget my problems once in a while. This is one of the subjects that I’m very much looking forward to attend this semester! 2. Are you sure you are going to pass this subject? Why? So far, I’ve been doing well in this subject and with all those plus points, I’m absolutely sure that I’m going to pass it with no worries! 3. What grade do you expect to receive in this subject? Why? We all know that everyone wants a flat one… but it’ll just break my heart if I’m going to expect that grade and in the end I’ll get something lower. So I’ll just expect that you’ll give me the grade that I deserve. (Probably…1.50… but definitely not 2.00 or below!) ;D 4. What do you think of the system used by your professor in the recitation? It is a very challenging system! Suddenly, I have to do some advanced readings and think of what elements of fiction or what figurative languages are used in the story or in the poem, and then I have to look for synonyms of some words just so I could solve all those b _ _ n k _. It feels good every time I get the right answer and be “exchanged” with a classmate in a higher chair level. At the same time it makes me say “Sayang! I should have answered that!” whenever I wasn’t able to reply correctly. But then again, it’s still enjoyable. 5. What suggestions would you like to offer to further improve the delivery of the subject? No need for any suggestions! Everything is just fine and excellent! I’m very thankful that you are our professor!

1. yes, i think so... you make use full of our time. and also, i find it challenging on my part studying about poems and short stories maybe bec. you make sense of those. 2. i'm not 100% sure. anything can happen. Probably, bec. i study hard in this subj. though i'm not that good. 3. i don't want to expect high grade, sometimes i got disappointed. A grade that can not disqualified me in my scholarship is enough. 4. it make me tense, further when i know that i will be asked sooner. sometimes i love it sometimes not, maybe it depends on the questions you've asked the class. 5. I find your subj. enjoyable, but maybe you can appreciate if i will raise a suggestion. I hope sir, you try to consider the explanation of students, when they try to rebut the answers you give. Explain to them thoroughly the reason. i think that is better if the doubt in their mind be gone or lessen.

1. Yes, it worth my tuition fee and time, because this subject is interesting unlike othr subjects, and i learn more in this subject. one thing is how to analyse a poem, story, etc. the prof is nice and jolly, the way he discussed the poems,he always makes us laugh, that makes our class alive.
2. Maybe, because im doing my part but not that good, and i will everything just to pass this subject. Hirap yta umulit!! hahaha!
3. Maybe its between 2.5 and 2. i hope so..
4. Its good, thats the first time i encountered that kind of system. I think it will be fair to everyone.
5. Nothing to improve!! d'best!! keep it up master solmerano!

FULL - FATHOM FIVE QUESTIONS 1. Is this subject worth your tuition fee and time? Why?Definitely. Literature 2 is one of the few subjects that are enjoyable. As what the whole class says, our time in Literature 2 is a break and fun time. It is the perfect time to relax considering our comprehensive exam and major subjects.
2. Are you sure you are going to pass this subject? Why? I hope so. I think I deserve to pass because aside from the fact that I don’t have any absences, I always submit all the requirements and pass all the quizzes and major exams.
3. What grade do you expect to receive in this subject? Why? I don’t expect what grade I’m going to get because for me, what matters is the knowledge that I have acquired or the things I have learned in the subject. Also, I don’t believe that grades are the best way to test if one learned something from a subject or not.
4. What do you think of the system used by your professor in the recitation? It is fun because it encourages us to read and study our lessons before we enter the class for we hate to hear the word “exchange!!!”
5. What suggestions would you like to offer to further improve the delivery of the subject? I don’t think that there are things that need to be improved. I like the subject, the professor’s manner of discussion, the recitation and everything. Everythings seems to be perfect so I hope that this will remain throughout the semester. I’m also hoping that our other subjects (and professor) will imitate the way our Literature 2 class is going on. -pat menina, ac02401

1. I think this subject is really worthy of my tuition fee because I'm enjoying it and I'm learning a lot from it.
2. I think, yes, I'll pass the subject as long as I'll comply with the requirements. I think our professor is considerate enough to see our efforts and pass all of us.
3. GRADE?!!! Hirap nman.. Hmmm.. just give us the grade we deserve.. pro sana mataas.. it's all up to you sir..
4. I find it exciting and challenging at the same time.. Especially when I hear the word, "Exchange!".. Grabe tlaga.. At least we are motivated to study and to come to class early... Only in this subject that I value my seat very much.. hahaha! ;D
5. I find the subject well delivered. I think there's no need to change your style sir.. I enjoy the activities and discussions.. Just keep it up!

1. of course this subject is worth my time. becase i like short stories and because of literature i read more short stories that will give me pleasure. hehe....... i really like short stories and because of that literature is worth my time and money.
2. yes, i always give a positive outlook in life. and with an attitude of that plus hard work i can pass this subject.
3. grades are not my concern.. but just give grades that i deserve, (as long as high grades.. hehe.....1.50 above.., joke) just give grades that i deserve.
4. its kind of new to us.. funny and exciting, but i'm a little worried, kc pag nasa likod ka ang baba ng grade mo.... pero masaya kung naririnig mo ung word na "exchange", hehe.. and kung me mga huhulaan, kelangan mo talagang magbasa ng dictionary.
5. i don't have suggestions because sir is a very creative and innovative person.. he knows how to improve his teaching...(yes, he is the master).. and because he knows the history that is embedded in world literature,, improvements are just going his way.

1. Yes, of course. Being a subject which is not accounting, this gives us a time to relax for a while and enjoy our time with literary works wherein we make full use of our imaginations. 2. I believe that I can pass the subject because I have learned to enjoy and appreciate the subject. 3. Well I can say 1.5 would suffice for the effort that I exert with the subject. I know that everybody in the class wants to have a decent grade but it's just that literature is using a totally different language than we do have in accounting. But we still enjoy the subject! 4. At first, I am not that comfortable with the system of heaven and hell because, honestly, I don't want to be seated in hell, hehehe. As of now, I'm enjoying it, it is challenging and it encourage the class to participate in the discussions. 5. So far, the delivery of the subject matter is good. The class is responding actively. I guess we just have to be open with others' insights. Keep it up!

1. Absolutely "Yes" with a capital letter "Y". I like the way you teach us. We learn a lot from you in a way that you don't give pressure to us. 2. Yes, because I need to pass!!!I'm not good in literature but I really try my best not just to pass but to get a high grade. 3. The grade I deserves!!! 4. I think it's good and effective. It encouraged us to think and give focus to the discussions. 3. Nothing, just continue the way you teach. The way you teach make me feel that you really love this subject. I think teaching is really your passion sir!!!
